Dr. Kimberlyn Contreras was born in Venezuela and came to the US in 2008; first, she had to learn the English language in order for her to pursuit her career. She obtained her Doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL. The journey of becoming a chiropractor started after her parents developed some health issues that impacted their lives in a negative way. Traditional medicine did not help; there were no solutions, or hope for them to recover their healthy lives besides taking lots of medication with many harmful side effects.
Fortunately, a friend of the family recommended visiting a Chiropractor, and it was then when their lives changed and they were able to restore their health. At that moment, it became clear to her what she wanted to do for the rest of her life: to be a Chiropractor. Her passion for Chiropractic developed her new mission in life to improve the health of each one of her patients through chiropractic care so that they can live their best life. After finishing her doctorate, she has dedicated her time to continue her education by becoming part of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in which she is specializing in pediatrics and pregnancy. She believes that healthy kids become healthy adults.
